It is also a popular West African dessert common in countries like Nigeria, Cameroon, and Ghana. Its recipe also comes with ground nutmeg for flavor. The dough is usually kneaded and cut into small one-inch (or so) squares, about a quarter of an inch thick, before frying. It is so tasty and delicious that you will ask for more.
